Privacy Policy

Information you provide. When you use the Service, you provide information such as your name, date of birth, and contact information, and details about your driver's license and suspension. Depending on your situation, this may include your driver's license number, the type and basis of your suspension, citation or court information, and related details you enter to generate your roadmap or prepare your packet.

Uploaded records and files. If you upload or paste a driving record, suspension notice, court document, insurance proof, certificate, or other file, we collect the file and the information it contains. These materials can include sensitive personal information. Do not upload information you do not want us to process for your case.

Payment information. If you purchase Roadmap Plus, a packet, or another paid service, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment card number; Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive limited payment metadata such as payment status, amount, customer email, and Stripe transaction identifiers.

Information collected automatically. We collect limited technical and usage information, such as your device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referral source, checkout events, and cookie identifiers. We use this to operate the Service, measure the funnel, prevent abuse, and improve the product.

We use information to generate your free snapshot, prepare Roadmap Plus, prepare supported packets, process payments, deliver download links, provide customer support, troubleshoot errors, respond to refund or access requests, operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service, prevent fraud or misuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Optional roadmap email. If you choose to save your roadmap by giving us your email, we store it with your case and may send you a follow-up email with a link to come back and finish. You can opt out at any time by replying to that email. We do not sell your email or use it for third-party advertising.

Uploaded official records. If you choose to upload your official driving record (or paste its text), we store the file in private storage scoped to your case and send it to an AI processor to extract the list of holds on the record. We show the extracted list back to you to confirm or correct before anything in your roadmap changes. Uploading is optional. You can use the free snapshot, Roadmap Plus, and packet preparation without it.

AI and automation. We may use automated tools to classify your selected holds, generate a procedural roadmap, fill safe mapped fields, and extract text from uploaded records. These tools do not make government decisions, determine legal eligibility, or submit anything to a government agency.

We share information only as needed to operate the Service, including with:

• Service providers, such as Stripe (payment processing); our hosting, database, and storage providers; our transactional-email provider; and the AI processor we use to extract holds from uploaded driving records, who process information on our behalf and are permitted to use it only to provide services to us;
• Government or other parties when required by law, legal process, or to protect legal rights; and
• A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not knowingly share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (for example, to remember that you have viewed your case before checkout) and for basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the Service works.

Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is not a single industry-standard response to those signals, and we do not currently respond to them. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising cookies at this time.

We retain your information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or operational requirements. You may request that we delete your information, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it.

If we delete a case, packet, uploaded record, or related file, we may still retain limited records needed for payment, fraud prevention, security, tax, accounting, legal, or dispute purposes.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please report security concerns to security@reinstatelicense.com.

Your case and packet links may contain secure access tokens. You are responsible for keeping those links private and for using an email account you control.

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, obtain a copy of it, opt out of certain sharing, or limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We do not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@reinstatelicense.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

The Service is intended for individuals addressing a driver's license matter. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because some driver's license applicants may be minors, a parent or legal guardian should be involved in any use of the Service by a minor.

The Service may link to third-party websites or government agencies. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy with a revised “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice through the Service or by email when appropriate.
